Report: Giants' Tuck to have shoulder surgery
New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck will undergo surgery in the next week or so to repair a shoulder injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, a source close to the situation told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
After surgery for the torn labrum, Tuck was expected to be in a sling for about a month before rehabbing for two to three months, the source said. Tuck was expected to make a full recovery well before next season's training camp.
Tuck was listed as questionable Friday to play at Minnesota on Sunday in the last game of the season for the Giants (8-7). He sat out practice Thursday with a swollen knee.
