Report: Golden Tate caught in donut shop at 3 a.m.
Golden Tate had a hankering for some sweet stuff. At the wrong time.
TMZ.com has reported that the Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver had a run-in with police in the wee hours Saturday morning. The encounter took place inside a Top Pot donut shop in Bellevue, Wash.
The problem was the store was closed. Because it was 3 a.m.
The ex-Notre Dame star was given a “trespass warning” per the site and was not arrested. How he didn’t get arrested for being inside the store at 3 a.m., we have no idea. Maybe the officers were Fighting Irish fans. Or Seahawks fans. Or both. But the report states Tate was inside the store at 3 a.m., before they started pouring coffee and baking donuts. Surely this will lead to some serious hazing.
Your imagination can run wild wondering what Tate was doing before he found himself inside the donut shop at 3 a.m. It's a shame the Taco Bell drive-thru was closed.
