Report: Hillis pondered retirement, joining CIA

There have been a lot of developments with the whole Peyton HIllis saga last season as he went from being one of the Cleveland Browns' most celebrated players in 2010 to injuries and even a reported intervention from teammates regarding his contract situation.

Now comes a report from ESPN.com that Hillis even contemplated retirement last season and joining the Central Intelligence Agency. Yes, you read that correctly.

As it turns out, Hillis will play football in 2012 and will be an unrestricted free agent, potentially leaving the Browns for a fresh start elsewhere.

However, had he gone through with the CIA plans, Hills could have accomplished a rare double in the world of video games. He was on the cover of Madden '12 and perhaps could have garnered a cover on Call of Duty: Black Ops.
