Report: Joe Philbin to interview with Dolphins
Joe Philbin has more than one potential dance partner.
The Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator, who interviewed with the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday, is also a candidate for the Miami Dolphins. Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Philbin will interview with the Dolphins by the weekend, the deadline to meet with an assistant for a team with a first-round bye in the playoffs.
Philbin has been credited the last few seasons for helping the high-powered Packers offense. The Dolphins have already met with Jeff Fisher, Chicago Bears special teams coordinator Dave Toub and Todd Bowles, who was the interim coach at the end of the season.
Fisher is expected to choose between the Dolphins and St. Louis Rams.
