Report: Lawrence Taylor will plead not guilty today
Lawrence Taylor will plead not guilty to five charges he faces from an alleged encounter he had with a teenage hooker in New York today, the Web site TMZ.com reported.
Police and prosecutors claim that the Hall of Fame linebacker raped a 16-year-old prostitute at a hotel in May. Taylor faces charges of third-degree rape, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.
Taylor has said he never touched the 16-year-old girl, only himself, when they met in a hotel room. It appears right now that this case will wind its way to trial.
