Report: Marshawn Lynch nearly hit 2 vehicles before arrest
Marshawn Lynch was driving a 2012 Ford van and he nearly collided with two other vehicles before he was pulled over and charged with DUI Saturday in Oakland.
Danny O’Neill of the Seattle Times reports that Lynch was arrested in his hometown after being pulled over at 3:20 a.m. by California Highway Patrol.
According to police, the Seattle Seahawks running back was weaving in and out of his lane and he showed “objective signs of intoxication.” It remains to be seen yet if the Alameda County District Attorney will charge Lynch.
If charged, Lynch could face strict discipline from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as he would be viewed as a repeat offender of the league’s personal conduct policy.
