Report: Maualuga involved in bar fight

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga is alleged to have been involved in a fight with the manager in downtown bar, according to Fox 19 in Cincinnati.

The matter apparently happened early Sunday morning shortly before the bar was to close as Sammy Latham, manager of Luxe, told some people they would have to leave.

"One of them said something at which point I repeated myself, that they had to leave, and then Rey Maualuga got up, took three or four steps and punched me in the face, more noticeably the eye, then my nose started to bleed," Laham told the TV station. "Then security diffused the situation."

Police are still investigating the matter, and no charges have yet been filed, but the Bengals are no stranger to off-field incidents involving their players, so they surely know the procedure in this drill.
