Report: Michael Vick to start against the Chiefs
Entering Week 9, the Jets are making the decision that should have been made before Week 1.
According to the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta, the Jets will start Michael Vick at quarterback instead of Geno Smith for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. This decision comes after Smith threw three interceptions in the first quarter of Sunday's 43-23 loss to the Bills.
Vick didn't have a great game in relief but is certainly an upgrade over Smith. Smith has easily been the worst quarterback in the NFL this season. With the Jets at 1-7, any change probably doesn't matter much. But at least with Vick under center, the Jets will be a more competitive team.
