Report: Moss frontrunner to be Raiders' coach

New Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie could mine his Green Bay Packer roots in his search for a new head coach in Oakland.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Packers linebackers coach Winston Moss is the frontrunner to become the Raiders head coach, but neither he nor any other Green Bay assistant can be interviewed until the Packers are finished in the playoffs.

Packers secondary Darren Perry, quarterbacks coach Tom Clements and offensive coordinator Joe Philbin are also mentioned as potential candidates.

ESPN also reported that Miami Dolphins interim coach Todd Bowles also interviewed with McKenzie, who came over from Green Bay to be the Raiders GM and fired Coach Hue Jackson in his first move running the show in Oakland.
