Report: Packers that went ballistic via Twitter will not be fined

The Green Bay Packers players that went on R-rated tirades against the NFL and replacement officials via Twitter will not face sanctions from the league.

T.J. Lang, Josh Sitton and Jermichael Finley were players that went public with profane complaints and attacks against the league for the blown calls that resulted in the Packers’ 14-12 loss at Seattle on Monday night. They won’t be getting fines, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The situation is a public relations nightmare for the league and its 32 owners at this point and coming down heavy on players would only add to the issue. Players are typically given wide leeway when it comes to criticizing officials after games anyway.
