Report: Patriots, Winslow agree to 1-year deal
Two weeks ago, Kellen Winslow apparently wasn't healthy enough to help the New England Patriots.
Per ESPN.com, the Patriots and the veteran tight end have agreed to a one-year contract.
Winslow was released in training camp by the Seattle Seahawks, but gets a chance in New England as it appears Hernandez could miss up to a month with his injured ankle. The Patriots run a two tight end set with Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski the majority of the time, and third tight end Visanthe Shiancoe is already on injured reserve recall with a hamstring injury.
