Report: Peyton Manning played with torn right quadriceps

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning played through a torn right quadriceps, according to ESPN.

Manning got hurt Dec. 14 against the San Diego Chargers.

The Broncos have said it was just a strained quadriceps.

The Broncos had him listed with a thigh injury on the injury report.

During a playoff loss to the Colts, Manning completed 26 of 46 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown.
