Report: Polamalu out vs. Dolphins
From Jason La Canfora of NFL.com:
Steelers safety Troy Polamalu will not play Sunday against the Dolphins, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, and DE Brett Keisel will have his injured neck evaluated before kickoff.
Polamalu has missed much of the season because of knee injuries, but the team had been hopeful he would return for this game — and had hoped the same for the previous two contests. However, the All-Pro safety hasn’t felt up to it and has practiced sparingly.
Keisel, a key starter, appeared very doubtful to play as of Saturday night, but he will meet with doctors again Sunday to make a final determination.
The Steelers need to beat the Dolphins and receive help to reach the playoffs after winning the Super Bowl last season.
