Report: Rams' Jackson has herniated disc
From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — According to a source close to the situation, the back problems St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is experiencing are being caused by a herniated disc. Jackson apparently won’t need surgery after the season but he might not be able to practice again this year.
Also on the injury front, an MRI exam Friday on quarterback Marc Bulger’s fractured shinbone showed that it is healing properly but that he will be sidelined at least two more weeks. That report could prompt the Rams, who have just three games remaining after today, to place Bulger on injured reserve.
