Report: Rams want to trade down from No. 22

The St. Louis Rams are set to benefit from the windfall of draft picks they received a year ago in the Robert Griffin III sweepstakes.

Now, they might take part of that bounty and attempt to spin it for more selections.

The Rams are reportedly working to trade down with the No. 22 pick, the one they received from the Redskins, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. They are set right now to keep their own first-round pick at No. 16.

There will be competition in that range of the draft for teams looking to move down. The Dallas Cowboys (18) and Chicago Bears (20) have also expressed a desire to move down. It remains to be seen if a multitude of teams willing to jump back in the draft will soften the trade market. Stay tuned.
