Report: Ray Brown joins 49ers staff
As long as Ray Brown endured as a starting offensive lineman in the NFL—20 seasons—it’s no surprise that he has persevered as a coach.
Brown has been hired as an assistant offensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers, according to the NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. Brown was a line coach for the Buffalo Bills last season, a member of the staff that was recently run out.
Brown certainly has experiences he can share with younger and older players, alike. He started a playoff game for the Washington Redskins in 2006 at age 43. Who said it is a young man’s game?
