Report: Reps for 32 teams will meet Wednesday in D.C.
With the owners and players meeting already in New York this morning, it’s shaping up like a labor deal could be done at some point this week.
As we know, the owners have a meeting in Atlanta on Thursday at which time they could vote to ratify a new collective bargaining agreement.
The players also have to give their approval to a new deal, and they’re scheduled to meet this week as well. Albert Breer of the NFL Network reports NFLPA executive committee members will begin arriving in Washington today and will meet through Tuesday. The player representatives for the 32 teams will arrive on Wednesday.
There are still plenty of moving parts to this, but it looks like everything is lining up for football to return. Stay tuned.
