Report: Saints will look at two linemen
The New Orleans Saints let go of one defensive lineman last week when they cut ties with veteran Charles Grant, a former first-round draft pick.
They will bring two linemen in this week to get a look. The Saints will visit with Leonard Little, the end who has spent his entire career with the St. Louis Rams, and Jamal Williams, the tackle from San Diego, according to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.
Williams doesn’t count against the limit for final four teams as an unrestricted free agent because he was released by the Chargers. The Saints have already lost a UFA, too, as linebacker Scott Fujita signed with the Cleveland Browns.
It is believed the Chargers would like to re-sign Williams, but at their price. Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post has reported that Williams is in Denver today.
