Report: Shaun Hill to start against Broncos
Rams coach Jeff Fisher has had a change of heart as Shaun Hill will be St. Louis' starting quarterback this Sunday against the Broncos.
Following Sam Bradford's torn ACL, Hill was tabbed the Rams' starter. However, Hill suffered an injury in the first half of the season-opener and Davis had been the starter since. After saying he'd stick with Davis following the team's loss to Arizona, Fisher has now decided Hill will be the new starter, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
For the year, Davis, in his second NFL season, has thrown for 2,001 yards, 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions, while completing 63.4 percent of his passes. Hill threw two picks in the Arizona loss, both of which were returned for touchdowns.
In hindsight, St. Louis' season ended when Sam Bradford suffered his knee injury in the preseason. No matter how the rest of the season shakes out, the Rams' front office will have plenty of questions to answer when it comes to the future of the organization.
