Report: Sparano out at season's end in Miami
Sunday's 26-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles sealed the fate of Tony Sparano as head coach of the Miami Dolphins, reports Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
According to the report, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross will keep general manager Jeff Ireland, whom Salguero says Ross believes has done a good enough job to merit keeping his position.
Sparano, on the other hand, who seemed to have the support of his players, who rallied with three straight wins after an 0-7 start, won't be so fortunate. Salguero points to Sparano's loyalty in return to players who haven't produced enough for the Dolphins as a reason why he and the Dolphins are in their current dilemma of a third straight losing season, currently standing 4-9.
