Report: Three teams in play for Matt Flynn

The Seattle Seahawks have been looking to move Matt Flynn since the opening of free agency but have not found a taker at this point.

That could change at some point before the draft and Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders are candidates for Flynn, who signed with the Seahawks in free agency last year and looked to be their starter. But that was before rookie third-round pick Russell Wilson was a sensation.

Now, the Seahawks would like to part ways with Flynn and Jacksonville could be the likely landing spot. It helps Seattle that this is not considered a strong draft for quarterbacks. Jacksonville could use Flynn to push former first-round draft pick Blaine Gabbert, who might not have much shelf life with a new general manager and coach in place.

There is also not a lot in the way of experienced quarterbacks on the market. Surely, the Seahawks are not going to get much in return for Flynn but they would like to shed his contract.
