Report: Woman files for restraining order vs. Vikings assistant
A Scott County, Minn., woman has filed a restraining order against Karl Dunbar, the defensive line coach for the Minnesota Vikings.
WCCO-TV reports that the woman alleges Dunbar has shown up at her home twice since a sexual assault in April. The woman, according to documents, is “afraid of retribution and unsure of (Dunbar’s) behavior.”
Dunbar’s attorney said there are two sides to the story. Per the attorney, Dunbar does not expect to be charged with any crimes.
Dunbar, who has been with the Vikings for five seasons, nearly left to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this offseason.
According to the Vikings Web site, Dunbar is married with three children.
