Revis, Jets spar over off-season workout bonus

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis would like to stay in Arizona and work with his personal trainer as he rehabs his surgically repaired knee.

However, the Jets, according to ESPNNewYork, are insisting that Revis report to their off-season program, which begins in one week - even though there is still the possibility the cornerback will be dealt fairly soon, perhaps during the draft in just over two weeks.

At stake for Revis is a $1 million workout bonus that is tied to his attending 80 percent of the off-season work, as well as a $1 million roster bonus (triggered on March 17, but paid at a later date, per the report) and another $1 million when he reports to training camp.

Indications are that Revis, though he isn't happy about heading to the Jets complex, will comply, even though his future with the team could be tenuous.
