Rex: Patriots are better right now

Humility isn't a quality that seems to come natural to New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan.

But after Sunday's 30-21 loss to AFC East rival New England, the Jets coach had little choice but to partake of a slice of humble pie.

After all, the loss - New York's third in a row - drops the Jets to 2-3, now two full games behind the Patriots and Buffalo Bills, who are tied atop the East at 4-1.

“Well, obviously they are the better team right now. The score obviously indicated that,” said Ryan, according to ESPNBoston.

The Jets should be able to get back on track this week, however, as they host the winless Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football on Oct. 17. If not, that slice of humble pie is going to be really hard to digest.
