RG3 a full participant in Wednesday's practice
Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, coach Jay Gruden announced.
This is the first time Griffin has been able to go through a practice without limitations since dislocating his ankle in Week 2. It's unknown if he'll be able to start this week against the Vikings this week.
With Griffin out, Kirk Cousins filled in, and did well in games against Jacksonville and Philadelphia. Then he struggled before getting pulled in favor of third-stringer Colt McCoy. McCoy got the start on Monday against the Cowboys and led Washington to a 20-17 overtime victory.
Both Griffin and McCoy shared first-team reps on Wednesday. If Griffin is unable to go this week, McCoy will get the nod again. But it looks like there's some light at the end of Griffin's tunnel with getting back on the football field.
