RG3 not nearing a return any time soon
Washington has struggled offensively over the past two weeks, which has prompted folks to wonder when Robert Griffin III will be able to return.
Well, according to head coach Jay Gruden, it will be a while.
"I don't envision that any time soon," Gruden told reporters, via The Washington Post.
Griffin was injured in Week 2 against Jacksonville. Rolling out to his right, he twisted his ankle, which caused the dislocation. He's since been replaced by backup Kirk Cousins, who was drafted in the same class as Griffin.
Cousins played well against Jacksonville and Philadelphia but struggled mightily against the Giants two weeks ago. Against Seattle, he had a good day throwing to DeSean Jackson (157 yards and one touchdown) but that was about it.
