Rob Bironas was legally drunk at time of his death

Former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas was legally drunk at the time of his death with a blood-alcohol level of .218, according to the Tennessean.

The legal limit in Tennessee is .08.

Bironas died in a car accident.

There were also traces of Valium in his system.

Bironas was described as angry and engaging in road rage prior to his accident.

The police are investigating.

Bironas is a former Pro Bowl kicker.
