Roethlisberger has sprained foot
The good news for the Pittsburgh Steelers is that Ben Roethlisberger does not have a broken foot, as first speculated after the injury on Sunday.
The bad news is that Roethlisberger has a sprained left foot, according to ESPN, that has his status for next Sunday's game with the Tennessee Titans uncertain anyway.
"You know me -- if I can be out there, I'm going to be out there. That's so for next week, too," Roethlisberger said Sunday. "If I can do it and if I have to cast it up -- we saw I had to do that last year. I casted up my foot for the last half of the year. If we have to do it, I'll do it."
If Roethlisberger is unable to go, then Charlie Batch would likely get the call for the Steelers against the Titans.
