Rolando McClain not worried about contract outlook
Dallas Cowboys middle linebacker Rolando McClain is in the midst of an impressive comeback.
He's played well enough that he's likely to get a new contract from the Cowboys eventually.
At this stage, though, it's premature as far as McClain is concerned.
“We haven’t talked about it and I’m not worried about it,” McClain said. “I’m getting ready for the Giants.”
McClain leads the Cowboys in tackles and has intercepted two passes with a forced fumble.
Given his performance, the Cowboys will want him back. Also, the Cowboys will send the Ravens a sixth-round draft pick in exchange for McClain as long as he plays 50 percent of the defensive snaps.
“I’m just happy to be with the Dallas Cowboys,” McClain said. “I’m happy with our success so far. I’m having fun with my teammates. Having a good time, gelling together and playing some good ball right now.”
