Romo: 'This team is going to win a Super Bowl at some point'

Coming off their bye week it’s time for the Dallas Cowboys to get back to playing football, not talking about it.

Much has been made of the turbulent start to the season for quarterback Tony Romo, who always seems to have twice as many fans and twice as many detractors as any other quarterback in the NFL. Hey, that’s one of the things that comes along with playing for America’s Team, right?

Former Cowboys star Deion Sanders has ripped Romo plenty and now the quarterback has said the team will win a Super Bowl. Maybe not this year, but the nucleus the team has will capture a championship, according to Romo.

Every once in awhile you hear things that come out but that's not something you search out,'' Romo said, according to the Dallas Morning News. "I mean honestly, Deion is welcome to his own opinion about stuff. Deion is Deion. He is what he is.

"We're going to go out here, we're going to play good football. This team is going to win a Super Bowl at some point. It's going to be exciting when that time comes.

"And when we look back, we know who was on what side of the fence during the tough moments.''

There you go.
