Ross: Moore likely to be Dolphins' starting QB

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said that incumbent starter Matt Moore, who watched the team chase after plenty of quarterbacks this off-season, will likely start the 2012 season opener.

The Dolphins pursued Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn to no avail, and then settled on David Garrard and finally drafted Ryan Tannehill in the first round. But Ross says the Dolphins won't rush into anything with the rookie, who was the eighth pick overall.

"I don't think they're going to rush (Ryan Tannehill) into anything," Ross told "He's going to have to win the starting job. I think Matt Moore will probably be the starter, and I wish him the best."
