Roy Williams appears doubtful for Sunday

From ESPNDallas.com:

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys could be minus two starters -- receiver Roy Williams and strong safety Gerald Sensabaugh -- for Sunday's game at Kansas City.

Williams (ribs) and Sensabaugh (broken thumb) will not practice Friday and their status for the game appears doubtful. Coach Wade Phillips said both players' injuries have not improved, and he didn't believe either player would make the trip.

"We'll wait and see [up until] the last minute on all those guys," Phillips said before Friday's practice. "They haven't gotten a lot better, so you want to be well enough to play. You don't want to play with injured players ... and they haven't gotten to the point, right now, where it looks like they will be ready."

It would be the first time Williams has missed a game since he was traded to the Cowboys last October. The last time he missed time to injury was with the Detroit Lions during the 2007 season, when Williams sat out the final four games with a knee injury.

Miles Austin, who has five catches for 81 yards and one touchdown this season, would start in Williams' place.

"Miles is working at it," Phillips said. "When he gets his opportunities, he's tried to run the routes the way we want them run and worked hard at it. If he gets an opportunity, we expect him to step up."

Patrick Watkins would replace Sensabaugh in the starting lineup.
