Russell Okung to Broncos on five-year deal averaging $10.6 million per year
Former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Russell Okung has agreed to a five-year deal with the Denver Broncos averaging $10.6 million per year.
Okung, 28, operated as his own agent, but had consulting from a former agent.
Okiung visited the New York Giants, Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers. He also heard from the San Francisco 49ers.
The defending Super Bowl champion Broncos are expected to trade their left tackle, Ryan Clady.
The sixth overall pick in the 2010 draft, Okung spent his first six NFL seasons with the Seahawks, starting 72 games and winning a Super Bowl after the 2013 season. He’s coming off shoulder surgery.
