Ryan: 'If we lose, it's coming right down on me'
New York Jets coach Rex Ryan has already stirred the pot with their fellow stadium tenant, the New York Giants, in advance of Saturday's game saying his Jets are the better team.
Now Ryan says, per Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News that he is man enough to handle whatever criticism might come his way if the Jets don't measure up to Ryan's bravado.
"If we lose, it's coming right down on me. And I can handle it," Ryan said on Tuesday.
That might be true, but if the Jets lose to the Giants, not only will they lose bragging rights in New York (New Jersey?), but they will also cripple their playoff hopes as well.
