Safety Robert Blanton joins Bills
The Buffalo Bills brought in safety Robert Blanton for a free agent visit, and quickly signed him to a one-year contract. He's an unrestricted free agent previously with the Minnesota Vikings. Blanton started 13 games in 2014 and finished third on the team with 111 tackles. Blanton played at Notre Dame. He was a backup strong safety behind Andrew Sendejo. Blanton played cornerback in college and was a fifth-round draft pick. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
