Saints pick up fifth-year option for Cameron Jordan

The New Orleans Saints picked up the fifth-year option for veteran defensive end Cameron Jordan, according to a league source.

Jordan is now under contract through the 2015 season with a $6.969 million salary for that year.

Jordan was drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft.

The Saints exercised the option on Jordan today.

The Saints have yet to pick up the option on running back Mark Ingram.
