The New Orleans Saints aren’t waiting for Garrett Hartley to heal up any more this season.

The club has placed the kicker on season-ending injured reserve with a hip injury. New Orleans had been waiting on him to return while using John Kasay. The move was reported by our friend Aaron Wilson at Scout.com.

The Saints have some injuries adding up on the offensive line and may not have the luxury of waiting for a kicker to heal up. Hartley was injured during preseason in a game against the Oakland Raiders. New Orleans has also cut Mitch King.
