Saints quarterback Drew Brees has torn plantar fascia

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has a torn plantar fascia in his right foot. Brees may continue playing through the injury, though. It's similar to the injury Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning suffered. Manning has missed the past five games with his partially torn plantar fascia. "We're kind of taking it day by day," Saints coach Sean Payton said. "I know he's had it looked at, he's had an MRI. I think each day we'll gather more information and have a better idea of where he's gonna be as it pertains to playing in this game or not."
