Saints reach five-year deal with Terron Armstead

The New  Orleans Saints agreed to a five-year deal with veteran offensive tackle Terron Armstead. Armstead, 24, is a former third-round pick in the 2013 draft. Armstead overcame a knee injury last season "In a lot of cases guys would have just said 'I can't go,'" Saints coach Sean Payton said in December. "There isn't a left tackle I would trade him for in the league. I really like the way he has progressed. He is smart and athletic, and last week when you watch the tape, you can see that he is not 100 percent and he fights through it."
