Saints removing image of serial rapist Darren Sharper
The New Orleans Saints are removing an image of former safety Darren Sharper, a convicted serial rapist, from outside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints had an image of Sharper with his finger raised running behind cornerback Tracy Porter during a touchdown in Super Bowl XLIV.
"It's common sense," Saints executive Ben Hales told the New Orleans Advocate. "We don't even want the perception that that's an individual we're celebrating."
