Saints sign Darryl Tapp
The New Orleans Saints signed veteran defensive end Darryl Tapp.
They cut tight end Jack Tabb.
The Saints needed help at defensive end.
Hau'oli Kikaha tore his anterior cruciate ligament recently.
Tapp is a former Seattle Seahawks second-round draft pick.
He has 2 1/2 sacks and 43 tackles in his past two seasons with the Detroit Lions.
The Saints also have Cameron Jordan and Bobby Richardson at defensive end.
