Saints-Texans joint practices wiped out
We’ve had another victim claimed by the NFL lockout.
The New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans have made the decision to cancel three joint practices in advance of their Aug. 20 preseason game. The workouts were to be held in Houston in advance of the game, something the teams have done the previous three training camps.
Some coaches like to break up the monotony of camp by mixing together with another team for a few days. It gives players a fresh look and keeps them focused. It also helps the coaches better evaluate their own rosters and depth charts.
