Sanchez, Smith sharing first-team reps
It's a June OTA, and it probably means next to nothing.
But it is the over-scrutinized New York Jets, so it's not surprising that tweets are coming out from various beat writers about who is doing what at the quarterback position.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News and Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork, among others, rookie Geno Smith and veteran Mark Sanchez shared time working with the first unit during a red zone drill.
Not exactly something to read too much into because the first real snap of the season is still three months away. But you can bet the situation will be analyzed, scrutinized and criticized no matter which one does better in today's final open OTA for the Jets.
