Sapp released by Dolphins
To say it hasn't been a good 48 hours for Benny Sapp is quite the understatement.
Last night, Sapp was victimized by New England Patriots receiver Wes Walker and QB Tom Brady for a 99-yard touchdown pass on Monday Night Football.
Afterwards, of course, the highlight played most of the day on ESPN and every other sports channel in the country. Now, Sapp is in the umemployment line, cut by the Miami Dolphins, according to his agent Andy Simms, who sent out the message via his Twitter feed.
While Sapp was responsible for letting Welker go coast-to-coast for a touchdown, the Dolphins still have to account for the other 418 yards of passing Brady put up against them.
