Seahawks activate Zach Miller

The Seattle Seahawks could be getting a boost now that tight end Zach Miller has passed his physical and been activated from the physically unable to perform list.

Miller tore his plantar fascia during the postseason last season.

The Seahawks could use Miller with wide receiver Percy Harvin out indefinitely after undergoing hip surgery.

Miller isn't slated to play Saturday night against the Denver Broncos.

“Next week will be much more involved,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. “Again, we’ll continue to be very measured at how we bring him back in. But it’s great to have him back. And he’s ready to go.”
