Seahawks' Bruce Irvin making progress since hip surgery

Seattle Seahawks outside linebacker Bruce Irvin underwent hip surgery this offseason and might not be ready for the beginning of training camp.

Irvin says he's getting better fast, though.

"Rehabbing sucks!" Irvin wrote on Twitter. "But man my hip feels 100 times better!"

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll made it clear in the spring that Irvin might not be ready for camp.

"Bruce is going to be up against it a little bit," Carroll said. "He's had a fantastic recovery already and he is going to work his butt off to get back. But we are going to have to wait and see."
