Seahawks' Hill pleads guilty to pot possession
pleaded guilty Thursday to misdemeanor possession of marijuana in Georgia, according to a report by Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times.
Hill was arrested in Georgia 15 months ago after he was found to be asleep at the wheel and authorities were called. A small bag of marijuana was found inside a backpack in Hill’s vehicle.
The charges will be dropped against Hill if he completes a year of probation without incident. Per the report, he is subject to random drug and alcohol screenings. He was forced to pay $550 in fines and court costs and will have to perform 30 hours of community service. He also must participate in an outpatient program.
Even as a first-time offender, Hill could face consequences from the league.
