Seahawks place two veterans on injured reserve

The Seattle Seahawks have two open roster spots as they prepare for Saturday’s wild-card round game with the New Orleans Saints.

The Seahawks placed two veterans on injured reserve today, ending the seasons of guard Chester Pitts and tight end Chris Baker. No word yet on how the team that has made more roster moves than anyone since last January will fill the slots.

Seattle added running back Andre Anderson and tight end Nick Tow-Arnett to the practice squad.
