Seahawks sign WR Ruvell Martin one more time
The ever-changing roster of the Seattle Seahawks was worked over again this afternoon.
The team has signed veteran wide receiver Ruvell Martin, giving him his third shot with the team in a matter of months, and adding him in time to participate in Sunday’s game at Arizona.
Martin could contribute on special teams and on offense. He was signed a week before the Seahawks hosted the New York Giants last week, but was cut the day before the game, according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times. Martin also spent training camp with the Seahawks.
To make room for the former Green Bay Packer, defensive tackle Frank Okam was released. Okam was signed almost two weeks ago and he did not play last Sunday.
