Senior Bowl adds seven players

The Senior Bowl roster has been supplemented by seven more players.

All of the players participated Saturday in the East-West Shrine all-star game.

Senior Bowl executive director Phil Savage said the Senior Bowl roster has added seven more players in advance of Monday's first practice sessions in Mobile, Ala.

That includes West Virginia defensive end Will Clarke, Lindenwood cornerback Pierre Desir, Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Justin Ellis, Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, Oklahoma offensive lineman Gabe Ikard, Utah State cornerback Nevin Lawson and Georgia Tech safety Jemea Thomas.

Garoppolo had a strong week at the East-West game.
